About Department

Computer Science is the study of computers and computational systems. In the era of Computers, Digitization, and Online applications, Computer Technology has become a necessity for every industry. Computers have become a vital gadget in several sectors like healthcare, education, intelligence, space, science, medical, finance, banking, and many more. With a massive growth in demand for computers in every part of the world Computer Science discipline is booming with bright prospects. Global excellence and local relevance in research, teaching and technology development is the vision of the Department. The Department was conceived with the UG course in 2017 with 50 students and now the the Department has a vibrant students body numbering about 60 and 4 faculties who are well qualified and experienced in their chosen field.

Objective

The Programs offered by the department imparts quality education for the students especially the poor, the needy and the underprivileged by providing more career opportunities in IT sector, educational banking and Government fields.The department focuses not only on the theoretical aspects but emphasizes the overall development of the students.

Infrastructure

The Department is equipped computer with the latest tools and technologies Laboratory and well furnished Department Library furnished with the latest journals and books on Computers. To break the geographical boundaries, the Department has a separate internet laboratory for surfing the internet and LCD projector facilities. Our Faculty The faculty has some of the best talents drawn from academics and management professionals who spare no effort in catering to every scholastic need of the students. Faculty members act as mentors, guiding students during the courses to help them develop the necessary technical skills and attitudes required to become successful IT managers and corporate citizens. They are also involved in research activities in various fields like Networking, Compiler design, Database Management Systems, Machine Learning, Artificial intelligence and simulation techniques Our students brought laurels to the department by participating in, NCC, RRC,YRC, Cultural and other extension activities. The strong alumni of our department extend their helping hand to the current students for their carrier growth and various job opportunities
